At about 10 km away from Kullu, the Dhakpo ShedrupLing Monastery Located. It is situated in Kais Village and thus it is also called the Kais Monastery which is located at the bank of Beas River. The Monastery was introduced in May 2005 by the Dalai Lama.

DhakpoShedrupling monastery is the residence of Buddhist Monks. It is the gem of Kais Village. There are about 50 stairs which people have to climb to reach the Monastery. The unique design of the building and the mesmerizing mountains in the background make it one of the best places to visit in Kullu indeed.

Peace and Spirituality welcome the people inside the temple. The footwear should not wear inside the Monastery. The environment is extremely peaceful inside. The nerves calm down automatically.
