Tirthan Valley is an enchanting and mesmerizing place which enclosed by the Great Himalayan National Park. Besides that the valley has beautiful green meadows and lakes, this valley is one of the best places to visit in Kullu. It’s a perfect place to spend the weekend with friends and families indeed.

The name Tirthan Valley comes from the Tirthan River which is situated next to the valley. Surrounded by the Himalayan national park, it is one of the awe-inspiring places of Kullu. It is located at a height of about 1600 mts above sea level.

Tirthan Valley is a hill station which the visitors choose for spending some time peacefully far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This place is less crowded as compared to the other hill stations. This spot should got a place in KULLU MANALI TOUR PACKAGE.

Tirthan Valley Trek

For a number of treks, the Tirthan Valley works as a base camp. Some of the treks include Jalori Pass Trek, Serolsar Lake Trek, various treks of The Great Himalayan National Park, and so on. Jalori pass – Raghupur fort

After visiting Jalori pass, tourists love to visit Raghupur Fort which is nothing but the ruins of the original fort. This trek is almost 4 to 5 hours. The views on the route are simply awesome and breath-taking.

Jalori pass – serolsar lake

After reaching Jalori pass, the other option for the trekkers is to take a trek to Serolsar Lake. It is a beautiful place situated within the mountain peaks. The trek to Serolsar Lake is very easy as compared to other treks. It can be easily completed between 3 to 4 hours.

Tirath trek

Tirath trek is for those people who love challenging trek routes. This trek lies within the this place. One of the sources of this trek is the Tirath River, from where it got its name.

This trek is a long trek of about 30 Kms and a difficult trek which takes almost 8 to 9 days to complete. The good thing about the trek is that it has some beautiful campsites which are extremely enjoyed by the trekkers indeed.
