Vinog Mountain Quail Sanctuary is another name for Benog Wildlife Sanctuary. It started out in 1993. The snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountains The sanctuary has become a haven for bird watchers and is home to many birds. You may see birds such as Red Billed Blue Magpie and White Capped Water Redstart, to mention a couple. 

From here, one may also take in a breathtaking vista of the Bandarpunch and Chaukhamba peaks covered in snow. The Hathipaon Estate and Cloud's End are two popular tourist destinations close to the Benog Wildlife Sanctuary. Surround it, and it is on a slope with pine trees all around it. Scattered across 339 hectares, the Benog Wildlife Sanctuary is within Rajaji National Park. The sanctuary is accessible all year round, but April through November is the ideal time for a visit.
