At the tiny army cantonment of Landour in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, next to Kasmanda Palace, stands the Presbyterian church known as Kellogg Memorial Church. History of Kellogg Memorial Church

Since the chapel was constructed in 1903 as a Presbyterian church, it was significant in bygone days. During their rule over India, the British used to learn Hindi at the Landour language school housed in the Kellogg Memorial Church. The church bears his name in honour of Rev. Dr. Samuel H. Kellogg (1839–1899). He was an extremely active American Presbyterian missionary in Landour. He was a brilliant scholar who, in the 1800s, authored the best book on Hindi grammar written in English to help British people learn the language. 

The Kellogg Church exemplifies the Presbyterian architectural style. Its architecture is spectacular, with many Gothic-style stained glass windows. Located in Mussoorie's Landour neighbourhood, the Kellogg Memorial Church is a well-known tourist destination that also functions as a landmark.
