Chandrakhani Pass

Chandrakhani Pass is located in Kullu forming away between the villages of Rumsu, Pulag and Malana. The location is at 3660m above the ground. This place is also famous for religious views as there is a belief that Saptarshi use to meditate here. It is one of the best places to visit in Manali.

Another story also suggests that once a deity came with a basket full of local gods and opened the basket at the top of the pass. A strong wind blew away all the idols to the nearby peaks. And because of this incident, all the peaks have considered holy.

In the Shivalik Ranges, Chandrakhani Pass is a very famous and adventurous trekking route. YHAI (Youth Hostel Association of India), after successfully and professionally completing 48 years in Himalayan Trekking, brought National Himalayan Trekking cum Training Expedition in Chanderkani Pass.
