Keylong or Kyelang is one of the headquarters of the district of Lahaul and Spiti. It is a place that holds much government office indeed. Some of the tourist facilities of this place are Circuit House, a Sainik Rest House, a Public Works Department Rest House etc. Apart from this, there is a Tourist Bungalow and a number of Hotels.

In Himalayan lap, there are many places with breath taking scenario. This is a green meadow-like town, which is situated in the middle of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks. It is situated 126 Kms to the northern part of Manali. It is predominantly a Buddhist Region. 

Places to visit in Keylong

This place has a number of spots which are breath takingly beautiful and majestic. Some of the places to visit in here are Suraj Tal, Bara-Lacha Pass, Kardang Monastery and Lahaul Valley. It is one of the most adventurous and peace-giving places to visit in Manali.

Another major attraction of this place is that it is the only place where the local market is found. People here emphasizes on conserving nature. The location of Keylong is on the bank of River name “Bhanga”. It is the place where amazing three valleys have intersected. They are Chenab valley, Bhaga Valley and Chandra Valley

On the height of 3440 m, Keylong is there. In Lahaul, it is the most populated and well-known region of Manali. There are 250 houses and besides that a lot of government offices.
