Jana Fall is located in a small town Jana, which is a few km away from Naggar in Manali. The name of the waterfall, Jana waterfall came from the name of the village.

This waterfall attracts a lot of tourists because of its unique beauty. The beautiful ambience of this place makes it the best picnic spot for families. Naggar Castle, Tripura Sundari Temple and Roerich Art Gallery are some other places to visit in Manali.

There is a single lane towards the waterfall. This road, surrounded by Pine Trees, ends at Bijli Mahadev Temple. The view towards the waterfall is beautiful with the Snow Clad Mountains.

Jana waterfall trek

The Jana Waterfall Trek is a short and easy trek. The beginner hikers can also easily complete this trek. The waterfall is surrounded by snow-covered mountains, apple orchids and beautiful pine trees. It is a perfect place to spend some time in nature’s lap. The presence of a small wooden bridge makes the place adorable and ecstatic.

The first sight of the waterfall is a bit hidden. The waterfalls down unexpectedly from a clutter of rocks which overlooks a wooden bridge. To get a beautiful and close view of this waterfall, visitors should trek the hill till the top point. The hilltop provides a beautiful and mesmerising surrounding. There is a small pool of the fall, where one can have a refreshing bath or can even swim a little. There are 3 4 busses arranged from Naggar town to the Jana Fall every day. The height of Jana Fall is approx. 30 ft . It takes 1.5 hours to reach Jana waterfall from Manali. The best time to visit Jana Fall is during the winter season. The winter season of Manali is between September and June.
