Fambonglho Wildlife Sanctuary

Fambong Lho is a sanctuary extension of Khangchendzonga in East Sikkim. The total area covered is 51 square kilometers with an altitude of 1524 to 2749 meters. It also has hamlets, such as Mangan, a famous visitor destination and one of the places to visit in Gangtok.

You can watch birds from Fambong Lho because it is home to rare species like the rufous-headed hornbill and laughingthrush. Many animals are in the refuge, such as the Himalayan brown bear, the red panda, the barking deer, and the yellow-throated marten.
