Ganesh Tok View Temple is a small temple in Gangtok that has a lookout point. The cute spot is on top of a hill and has stunning views. You can see the Kanchenjunga hill in all its glory from here, with the view being at its best in the morning. The temple for Lord Ganesh is tiny, though, so only one person can be inside.

There are bright colors tied across the stairs to make them stand out. You can wash your hands and put your shoes somewhere safe before entering the building. The bar and porch in front of the temple are also very nice. The temple itself is the main draw of the area and one of the places to visit in Gangtok.

Religious Importance

Located at 7200 feet, Hanuman Tok, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, offers a stunning view of the Kanchenjunga range and is close to Ganesh Tok. For religious reasons, the temple is essential and a peaceful place to be. It is known for making its followers' dreams come true. You should visit Ganesh Tok at least once to enjoy its beauty and take a break from your everyday life. This is a great spot for artists and people who love nature.

Viewing Deck of Ganesh Tok View Temple

Ganesh Tok isn't huge, and you have to walk a flight of stairs to get to the viewing area on the upper floors. Around the middle of the stairs, you will have to take your shoes off. People have to crawl on all fours to get to Lord Ganpati because the temple's inner chamber is so small. A watching area with glass walls and a balcony gives you a better view. You can see the snow-covered mountains, like Kanchenjunga, and the rolling hills from the balcony.

The building has a gift shop where tourists can buy various affordable, colorful, hand-made items. Outside Ganesh Tok, there are a few more gift shops where you can easily haggle. There is also a parking spot set aside for tourists. A café is just a few steps away from the gift shop. It serves tea, coffee, veg momos, noodles, paranthas, cold drinks like bottled water, toast and eggs, and more. The prices are fair and reasonable.

The best time to visit

Ganesh Tok can be seen anytime, but it gets very cold from December to February. Massive floods also make the rainy season a bad time to visit. While there are many great times to see, the best time is spring, from March to June. The weather is still lovely, and the sky is clear. In addition, this is the best time to do all the exciting things. Consider booking Gangtok tour packages to make the most of your visit during this perfect season.
