NTR Gardens

The NTR Memorial Gardens are a popular place to visit in Hyderabad. The authorities built them to honour the late Shri N. T. Rama Rao, one of the most popular chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh. Along with its 36-acre size, NTR Gardens offers a relaxing and rejuvenating place to spend some time. It cost about 40 crore rupees to build the park. The NTR Garden in Hyderabad was first opened to the public in 2002.

What attractions are available at NTR Gardens?

A small train with only one track takes people all around the yard, which makes the trip more fun. In addition to the toy train, the NTR Garden has a lot of other fun things to do. Mr Nitish Roy came up with the idea for Desert Park, which is one of the newest parts of the NTR park.

There are about 150 different kinds of plants living here, mainly desert plants like cacti and succulents and so on. Plants have been taken from all parts of the country, including people from Kolkata, Shirdi, and so on, from Hyderabad. It is used as an herbal remedy and contains medicinal properties.

The designers created the Garden to exceed expectations with its beautiful natural setting and wide range of fun activities. Great places to eat are also available at the park. A lot of places to eat, like the fruit restaurant, a 2000-square-meter restaurant surrounded by three petal-shaped ponds, offering delicious food and beautiful settings to enjoy. The Car Cafes are mostly cafes that can move around and have room for six people. This gives guests a unique experience in the cafe.

Is NTR Gardens suitable for children?

In addition, the Garden has a lot of different ways to relax. A boat ride, a Japanese park, the Roaring Cascade, a fountain, and more are some of these. There is a play place for kids that keeps them busy. The vast entrance area with the Nandi Bulls is also very interesting.
