What is inside the Taj Museum? 

It took between 1899 and 1905 to build the Taj Museum. In 1982, Khan Bahadur Hassan restored the building. You will find this museum inside the Taj Mahal building, on the westernmost end of the Taj Gardens. Many are familiar with it in India.

It is inside the Taj Mahal, one of the World's Seven Wonders. Many old things from the Mughal Empire, like art and furniture. Many people who see the Taj Mahal also visit this museum to learn about the Mughal era.

•    The First Gallery 

Shah Jahan loved calligraphy, which is shown in this section. Calligraphic jade pieces, Mughal-era bowls, celadon plates, lotus vases, and porcelain are on show. 

Celadon utensils may change color when poisoned. Mughal daggers and swords are on display in the museum's last section.

•    Second Gallery 

This section relates to pictures, specifically the works of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. It has a lot of pictures in several sizes and styles. Some are made of other materials, while others are made of ivory. It also has small images in this category.

•    The Third Gallery 

This gallery displays sketches and paintings of the mausoleum and photos of the Taj Mahal from the past. The presentation covers the Taj Mahal site plan and building details. A coinage gallery displays Mughal-era Akbarabad silver and gold coins.
