Because of its stunning beauty and wide variety of animals at Rajaji National Park, the Tiger Reserve is a favorite vacation spot. It is a perfect destination for people who love the outdoors and animals. The Shiwalik ecosystem is represented by the Rajaji Tiger Reserve, located along the Shiwalik ranges' hills and foothills. Due to the area's diversity of forest types, from mixed broad-leaved to Terai grassland and from semi-evergreen to deciduous, it has been classified as an Indus-Ganges Monsoon Forest type. The Sal tree (Shorea Robusta) grows in high strands throughout the Rajaji Tiger Reserve. The variety of species and observation opportunities are more because of the region's location at the meeting point of the temperate western and central Himalayas.
A spectacular visual feast of over 315 different bird species awaits travelers. There are many peacocks, which are the national bird. Explore the Shivalik and Himalayan Ranges at Rajaji Tiger Reserve. You will get the thrill of the wild and experience the diversity of wildlife. If you are a wildlife fan, it is a must among the places to visit in Haridwar.
History
Rajaji National Park's statement of its intentions was in print in 1983. It was given in the name of renowned liberation warrior C. Rajgopalachari, also referred to as "Rajaji." The Rajaji National Park covers an area of 820.42 square kilometers. Rajaji National Park's buffer zone expanded by 255.63 sq km in 2015, taking in nearby reserve forests. In compliance with the Wild Life Protection Act of 1972 rules, the entire 1075 sq km region was classified as the Rajaji Tiger Reserve. The three major cities of Uttarakhand— Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh—all receive fresh, clean air from the tiger reserve.

The cost of each ticket is Rs. 150. Gypsies and other jeeps are available for hire at the gate for a 3-hour jungle trip for about Rs. 2500.
