Another significant attraction of places to visit in Haridwar. Maa Vaishno Devi, a manifestation of the Hindu goddess Laxmi, is the subject of this revered shrine. It was constructed as a duplicate of the Vaishno Devi temple. The temple's construction is in the middle of the ethereal splendor of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Vaishno Devi Temple in Haridwar is a duplicate of the Vaishno Devi temple in Kashmir. It is distinguished by tunnels and caves that lead to the inner sanctum, which houses the shrine of Goddess Vaishno Devi. The divine temple is home to Lakshmi, Kaali, and Saraswati, three gods. According to legend, the three Goddesses united and took the name Vaishno Devi to defeat Mahishasura. According to popular belief, the Goddess only bestows blessings on those who sincerely wish to do so from the bottom of their hearts. Due to the breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside, nature enthusiasts and religious devotees commonly visit the Temple in Haridwar.

The only similarities between this temple and the ancient Vaishno Devi Temple are its construction and passageways. The sight of Maa Vaishno Devi's idol and replicas of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India is a blessing for the devotees after they have climbed difficult stairs and squeezed through a cramped tunnel.

The Temple in Haridwar is famous because it is in honor of Lord Rama devotee Trikuta. He agreed to marry her in his final earthly carnation after she prayed to him with such fervor. Another Shakti Peetha temple is this one. It is a must-visit temple in your Haridwar tour package

The best time to visit

Summers in Haridwar are hot and muggy because they are along the Ganga River's banks. Therefore, October and March would be the ideal time to visit the temple.
