History of Shantikunj Aashram

Pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya founded Shantikunj in 1971 on a small plot of land. It gradually took up a sizable portion of Gayatri Nagar. Pt. Shriram was the one to organize several training camps. A satellite campus known as Brahmavarchas Shodh Sansthan was founded in 1979. Gayatrikunj, a new campus, was added in 1988.
