Gaurikund trek

The typical hiking path begins in Gaurikund and runs around 16 kilometers through stunning Himalayan vistas and towns. To trek to the temple, you must first obtain a permit from the Uttarakhand Forest Department. 

The temple grounds have guesthouses, lodges, campsites, and modest housing options. May to June and September to October are ideal for a visit. To have a safe and pleasurable trekking experience, bring needed goods, obey guidelines, and respect local culture and traditions.

Ways to reach Kedarnath

You won't be able to get there by bus or cab until you reach the Kedarnath temple. The final motor stop is Gaurikund, from which you must hike to reach Kedarnath Ji. Duration of the trek

To address medical emergencies, medical and first aid provisions are available at Bhimbali, Lincholi, and Kedarnath. The hike takes about 5-6 hours for individuals in decent physical shape. At the same time, a physically unfit person may need an entire day to finish it.
