Sonprayag is located in the Rudraprayag area of Uttarakhand, India. It is significant religiously because it marks the sacred confluence of two great rivers, the Basuki and the Mandakini. This calm village, nestled among the magnificent Himalayan environment, is a vital site for pilgrims. Beginning on the sacred Char Dham Yatra, which encompasses the famed shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath.
