The beach is a great spot for taking solitary strolls down the white sands. Since it is not visited by too many tourists, most local fishermen prefer to fish here with their native fishing hooks and nets. One can even do boating here, either in motorboats or wooden boats used local fishermen.

Some attractions located very close to this beach are the lighthouse, Parasurama Temple as well as Hawah Beach. Since many beautiful rock formations dot the shoreline, the beach is cut off from the rest of Kovalam Beach. So, if you are planning to go for the Trivandrum tour packages, just have a try to visit this beautiful place also.
