Rama Krishna Beach

The Rama Krishna Beach is in Vizag near the Rama Krishna mission. The beach's name came from the name of the mission. Spending time at the beach is a pleasant activity there. The water at the beach is calm and has a very relaxing surrounding.

•    When the district celebrates Visakha Utsav every year, the RK Beach always gets more crowded than usual. In order to protect the Sea Tortoises during their breeding seasons, Andhra University does special study projects at the beach.

•    Near the beach, there are a number of roadside places with the best seafood that everyone should try. Besides the beach, there are a lot of other places to eat along the shore.

What is the importance of Rama Krishna Beach?

The beach's most famous attraction is the INS Kursura Submarine Museum, which has a Kalvari class submarine and is open to the public. The 'Victory at Sea' war memorial, on the beachfront, was built to honour the men and women who fought in the 1971 war.
