As the name suggests, Haveli is the Hindi term for any big Palace, the Bagore ki Haveli is located at the Gangaur ghat marg, Udaipur at Rajasthan. Bagore ki Haveli is one of the primary destinations which are flocked by numerous numbers of tourists each year. This haveli stands ecstatically on the waterfront of the Pichola Lake at the Gangaur ghat.
The Haveli was built by Amar Chand Badwa who was the prime minister of the Mewar kingdom during the 17th century. This renowned Haveli is a converted museum and the whole credits of conserving the Haveli gees to the West Zone Cultural Centre without changing any of the structures, keeping the royal appearance intact in order to maintain the old charm.
The architecture of Bagore ki Haveli depicts the richness and the skilfulness of the Craftsmanship that Rajasthan has and passed on to from one generation to the other. The Haveli has 138 rooms in it with unique mirror-work and the walls of the Haveli have beautifully designed with mural paintings and glassworks.

Bagore ki Haveli show
The Bagore ki Haveli is primarily known for the Dharohar Dance Show that is conducting during the evening time at 7 pm. This dance show takes place in the Neem Chowk which is the courtyard of the Haveli. The balconies of the Haveli have beautifully lighted up with beautiful lights and the stage at the Haveli set up for the performance of the Rajasthani folklore with a piece of traditional Rajasthani music as the main focus which depicts the lifestyle of the people out there.
Arrangements for the visitors had made on the floor in front of the stage. Large mattresses have placed along the three sides of the terrace to savor the beauty of the dance performance. The beginning of the show is much organized and starts with the short introduction given by a Rajasthani woman and men dressed in typical Rajasthani attire and the performances began with the blow of conch shell and a Rajasthani religious song.
The men who perform with harmoniums and Tablas are so well choreographed and the women perform to those songs wearing a colorful ghagra-choli, also very popular as lehenga-choli. Which has embedded with the richness of Rajasthani culture done with glasswork and embroidery works.
