Jag Mandir Lake Pichola

Jag Mandir is another famous place which is visited and enjoyed by tourists. The actual location of the place is on the island in the lake which has the same name. The Jag Mandir is a Palace for entertaining guests of the city Udaipur.

The building of Jag Mandir started during the 1500s by Maharana Amar Singh which had later completed by one of his successors, Maharana Jagat Singh. Hence, it is popular as Jagat Mandir. Later the Palace and Jag Mandir had captured by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
