Nagore is a very famous town located in Tamil Nadu. Nagore dargah is a famous dargah for which the city is well known. Along with this place, various beautiful holy places are present in the city also. The last name of the City of Nagore was Nagapuram.

During the 18th and 19th centuries, Nagore was ruled by Marathas, French, and British rulers. During the rule of various dynasties, various types of reconstruction were done. Various schools and hospitals were constructed during the rules.

One of the most famous Sufi Saints - Hazrat Syed Shahul Hamid, established the famous dargah at this place.

The total dargah is covered in an area of 5 acres. The tallest Minaret of the Dargah has a height of 131 feet.

2. Nagore beach
