Sahastradhara, meaning "Thousand Fold Spring," is a well-known Dehradun tourism destination. Sahastradhara is 14 km from the city of Dehradun near the Baldi River. Throughout the year, many travellers come here to visit the beautiful waterfall and the caves.  

In addition to its natural beauty, Sahastradhara is a well-liked weekend destination in Dehradun because of the historic Shiva temple that lies close by. Some spiritual hotspots close to Sahastradhara include the Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple and the Drona Guha cave, home to Guru Dronacharya.
