Juhu Beach

Juhu Beach, Mumbai's longest beach, is also one of the most visited places to visit in Mumbai. Its extensive selection of sweet and sour street cuisine with a typical Mumbai flavor makes it well-known. There are so many stars from Bollywood and television in the Juhu neighbourhood that it has come to be associated most especially with one name- Amitabh Bachchan-even a flashy touch of celebrity, likely jogging along the beach, adds the special charm and appeal of this area.

Early mornings are a perfect time to visit the beach to escape the crazy crowds and enjoy its laid-back vibe. The beach is unexpectedly deserted, and only the locals use it for Frisbee, dog walks, and morning runs. Along the more than three kilometres of coastline, you would see many runners, many barefoot. At this hour, only a few vendors serve tea or coconut water, and nearly all food stalls have closed.

Visitors come to Juhu Beach less for the beach and more for the cuisine in Juhu Chowpatty. The selection of snacks available on the Chowpatty is awe-inspiring. Near the main parking area, numerous stores provide a variety of regional cuisines, including panipuri, bhelpuri, misal pao, pao bhaji, and vada pao. Excellent South Indian cuisine is also available, with the most popular dishes being masala dosa, idli, and vada. Chinese are also quite ordinary and well-liked.

Street food enthusiasts will undoubtedly be thrilled with the wide variety of options, though many may argue the food isn't the best or the healthiest.
