The specialty of Habban Village & Habban Valley Forest Rest House

Habban Valley is aptly popular as the heaven for the trekkers. Alluring pine trees cover the roadside and peach, palm and pear trees seems in plenty in the last part of the journey, from Rajgarh to Habban. Apple trees are also seen but quite less in number.

Rajgarh is best famous for the peach fruits in Asia. The place offers a picturesque view of beautiful ferns, wildflowers, tiny waterfalls and other medicinal plants as we keep on strolling under a clear blue sky indeed. The roads in Habban are narrow and quite tricky in some places.

The weather mesmerizes throughout the year. The real taste of solitude can easily cherish if you plan to visit Habban for once and some facilities will surely be convincing enough to savour the taste of nature.

Habban forest log-hut, built-in 1969, is now the new forest rest-house for us to stay. The rest-house have online booking option. through the DFO, Rajgarh. There is one more rest-house in Chandel, 12km from Habban.

One can easily enjoy a walk through the dense forest of deodars from these houses. Chowkidar in these rest-houses offer heartwarming behavior with simple local food, mostly made up of local vegetables.
