The Viceregal Lodge is located at the Rashtrapati Niwas Chaura, Maidan road near the observatory Hill, Boileauganj, at Shimla in the Himachal Pradesh. It is another most beautiful places to visit in Shimla.

Vice-Regal lodge meaning
The word ‘Regal’ means royal, so, we can understand by the name that it is the lodge which means resting place for someone or somebody rich or royal.
The vice-regal lodge is the former name for the summer retreat residence of the Indian viceroy, Lord Dufferin. And now famous as the ” Rashtrapati Niwas” which means the Presidential Residence in English.

• RS50/- for the Foreigners.
No entry fee is required for the students of the Government School in groups along with their teachers.
