Jubbal is a town in Shimla in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Jubbal has a blend of, heavy woods, and buildings, huge landscapes. This place is famous for the various types of apples. The native language here is Pahari. It is a very good places to visit in Shimla during your trip.

Jubbal’s princely state was founded in 1800. The rulers who belonged to the Rathode clan acquired the title of Rana. The last ruler was Rana Baghat Chandra. Shimla tourism consists of many royal spots like this.

Jubbal is a perfect place for trekking as this place has surrounded by a large number of mountains, and well-endowed streams. This area is actually very popular in name as an elite place due to its large mansions it’s an endless number of festivals and huge tourist crowds.

Jubbal palace and history

Being situated 90 KM from Shimla; Jubal palace is a paradise for history lovers and architecture. Therefore SHIMLA TOUR PACKAGES must include this place.

The location of this place is about 7000 meters above sea level. This area is famous for its picturesque surroundings. This place was designed by a French artist in Indo-European style.

Courting back to the 12th century, Jubbal Palace has its own undying romantic story involved. Besides that according to the resources commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Army was‘Sir Willian Rose’. He was the first person to reside in this beautiful building.

In 1866, he paid a total of INR 22,000 to buy this land. In 1938, Raja Rana Yogendra Chandra rebuilds and repaired the building. After that until 1977, He and his wife Rani Sudha Kumari resided here. At that time his grandson Raj Kumar Uday Singh converted a part of this marvelous palace into a traditional heritage hotel, named as Woodville Palace Hotel.
