The Jama Masjid of Jaipur, also very popular as Akbari Masjid Jaipur. The location of this masjid is on the outskirts of the beautiful Pink City, Jaipur. Located at a raised platform, the Mosque acts as a reminder for the City’s Mughal Past. There are three gates to enter the mosque. It is one of the Jaipur tourist places which is loved by the tourists.

The mosque is quite famous for its architectural beauty. The main prayer hall of the mosque is rectangular in shape and it has the ability to boost the seven arches and four-storeyed minarets of either side of the mosque. On one of the arches, there is an inscription that says that the mosque was ordered to be built by the Mughal Emperor and Raja Bharmal built it after receiving the order from the Emperor.

There is an ablution tank in the courtyard. And the actual location is in the front of the mosque. The four miners which had built at the corners of the mosque enhance the beauty of the mosque from every side.

The inner part of the Mosque had decorated with paintings as well as with various geometric designs. The Akbari Mosque must include in the JAIPUR TOUR PACKAGES for sure.
