The Birla Temple of Jaipur is one of the holy Temples located all around our country India. It is also very famous as Laxmi Narayan Temple around India. The location is on a small elevation under the MotiDungri Hill. It is one of the Jaipur tourist places which had built-in 1988 by the Birlas. The land had sold by the Maharaja of Jaipur with only a minute sum of 1 rupee.

The architecture of the Birla Temple

The Birla Temple of Jaipur is entirely made up of the White Marble. Its architecture, which is a mixture of Ancient Hindu style and Modern Style, is very famous among the tourists. As the name suggests, the Birla Temple has dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his Wife Goddess Laxmi, who is very famous as the Goddess of wealth.

The location of this idol of Lord Ganesha is at the entrance of the Temple. It is because in the Hindu religion Lord Ganesh is always worshiped the foremost. Hence, to fulfill this tradition the idol of Ganesha is Places at the entrance.

Decoration of the Temple

The decoration of the temple is worth watching. The temple had decorated with the cravings of Gods and Goddesses. Also, the wise words from Puranas, Geeta, and Upanishads had embellished on the walls and pillars of the temple. Some of the events from our Indian Mythology are also engraved in the walls of the temple.

Apart from all these, the various pictures of philosophers, religious saints, and achievers like Socrates, Buddha, etc. Are the mindblowing things while visiting the temple. The idol of Laxmi Narayan is worth watching as it is made by the craving of only a single stone. The temple has three domes that indicate the different religions of India.

The stained glass window welcomes the tourists at the temple as it actually placed outside the main temple, which has displaced the different mythological scenes from Hindu mythology. A small temple is a tribute to Lord Shiva. That is outside of the main temple. It is built of the same white marbles.
