A stunning public park situated at the Nagawara Lake banks in the city of Bangalore is Lumbini Garden. It is situated at a distance of 11 kilometres from the railway station in Bangalore city; the Hebbal flyover on the outer ring road to be precise. It is the finest places to visit near Bangalore.

The park stretches around 1.5 kilometres along with outer ring road. It is a high tech nursery for the kids, as it is filled with user-friendly attractions like pool, kids’ zone, bungee jumping, kids ride and food stalls.

The Lumbini Garden name was given after Lord Buddha, a national park which is simply a serene treat to your eyes. The greenery and landscapes are loved by all. There is a 25 meters statue of Lord Buddha installed inside the park.
  
The garden has a beautiful 1.5 kilometres walking area alongside the lake. The garden lights up the various parts of it. It is very crowded at the weekends.

The timings are mainly from 11 am to 7 pm. It is open all seven days in a week.

Lumbini Garden entry fees

The entry fees are generally Rs. 50 for adults and kids more than 3 years of age.  The kids who are below 3 years can enjoy free entry, whereas, if you go for wave pool then 200 INR needs to be paid.

Wave pool

This artificial beach with a pool is one of the main attractions of the place. You can explore the experience of the beach without even going out to the sea. The effect in the swimming pool is very gentle. You can dip inside with no terror.

For additional safety, lifeguard jackets are available near the poolside. It is a 100-meter long pool with water slides for the youngsters. The changing rooms near the pool are helpful to change the cloths and wear swimming suits.
 
Boating

There are various kinds of boat ride available on the Lumbini Garden. It is paddle boats, battery boats, 2 seaters, coffee coats, 3 seaters, general boat and even family boats.  You can book various slots and explore the adventurous boat rides. The amazing Jet skiing is done here.

Kids’ Rides

Lumbini Garden is a complete place for exploring with your family and kids. In the wave pool, the adults can relax. Boating can be done with the entire family and kids can explore various games here. It includes, merry go round, trampoline, battery operated cars, twirling vortex fantasy rides, toy trains, Spanish bullfight rides, Columbus ride, pirate ship, break-dance ride and bouncy rides.

Lumbini Garden is also rented for ceremonies, parties, events and having a picnic. The party hall is facing the lake which is an awesome view in the middle of the city. Organizing the carnival is actively done here.
