Magadi Someshwara Temple is an ancient architecture and it is one of the protected monuments. The temple belongs to the time period of 16th century; in the year 1512 was created by Sri Nada Prabhu Kempe Gowda.
The temple occupies a larger space which consists of the inner courtyard (Prakara). It has lofty lower and several other Mantapas. These were now in the ruins which are not at all maintained and are highly neglected by the current authority.
The antique Magadi Someshwara Temple is solely dedicated to Lord Shiva. There are carved out beautiful sculptures like figures of birds, animals, and even humans. The pillars of the temple are decorated in this way. The architecture of the Hoysala style is observed here. The pillars even have the typical symbols of soldiers, dancing girl figure and lions on it.
Beside the left of Magadi Someshwara Temple there is another temple solely dedicated to Parvati Devi. It has much smaller towers with four corners in the area. A large attractive pond at a distance of the temple front is also found. A short distance from the complex, there is a mandapa solely for the Nandi.
