Pearl valley

Surrounded by the beautiful serene nature with waterfall and the mountains all over, the place have the best view that one can think of. The main attraction remains the waterfall, which slowly gushes out of the stream and flows down to a height of 92 meters.

The origin of this waterfall is from the Onakanahalli a place near Anekal where there is a tank nearby to it.

In kannada language, the word Muthyala means ‘pearl’ and Maduvu means ‘pond or pool’. The main reason of calling this place by the name of Pearl valley is because of the rocks and boulders which shine like pearl among the beautiful hills, beside the waterfalls.

When the water moves down from the height of 40 meters, it creates a shiny illusion of pearl stings appearing here and there. The drops of water scatter around the rocks offering an appearance of scattering pearl and hence the name suggested as the ‘Pearl Valley’. This place is fantastic for a one day picnic spot.

If we talk about the main attractions in Muthyala Maduvu, apart from the waterfall, the Shiva temple is another gorgeous feature. Within the waterfall, there lays an architecturally rich temple dedicated solely to worship Lord Shiva.

This temple is often visited by the travelers. Puja and rituals regularly happen every morning.
