The largest Corbett Tiger Reserve includes the Jim Corbett National Park; Project Tiger is in Uttarakhand's Nainital area. It is popular that Corbett's breathtaking terrain is home to many tigers. The original name was Hailey National Park, of Corbett, in 1936. It holds the distinction of being the oldest and most esteemed National Park in India.

Safari reservations can be made at the Corbett National Park headquarters in Ramnagar or online at Jim Corbett National Park. You can also make an online reservation by visiting the Uttarakhand Forest Department's website. You can also try it on the official website of Jim Corbett National Park.

Tourists can book a safari up to 45 days in advance. Booking is contingent upon availability and is done on a first-come, first-served basis.  Additionally, you can reserve a safari at the Ramnagar forest office on the same day.

Jim Corbett National Park's new name

Ramganga National Park could replace Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand, India. When the park was first created in 1936, it was famous as Hailey National Park. After being renamed Ramganga in the middle of the 1950s, it was subsequently renamed Corbett in honor of British writer and athlete Jim Corbett.
