Nainital, Uttarakhand, has an old temple famous as Pashan Devi Temple. Situated on the other side of Mall Road, at Thandi Sadak, it is on the shores of Nainital Lake. Maa Durga is honored in the temple. Among the most well-known temples in Nainital is this one. There are always a lot of devotees there, but it is especially so during Navratri.

One of the numerous temples in Nainital, with a sizable following of devotees, is the Pashan Devi Temple. Pashan Devi, also called the Goddess of Stone-pelters. It is revered as a symbol of the Nav Durga, or the Nine incarnations of Goddess Durga. The Goddess is likewise revered in stone form, and the temple is entirely stone. Due to its proximity to the Naini Lake, the Pashan Devi temple receives a lot of pilgrimage.

Since the establishment of the temple, the Akhand Jyoti has been lit. The devotees come to the temple and offer water to Goddess Durga. The water flows to the Naini lake after touching the feet of the Durga. Devotees also offer Sindoor and clothes to the Goddess Durga.
