History of Tiffin Top

Another name for the Tiffin Top is Dorothy's seat. Col. J.P. Kellet, a British Army officer, married Mrs. Dorothy Kellet. Col. Kellet erected this stone bench in honor of his wife, who perished in an aircraft tragedy while traveling to visit their kids. This peak represents the devotion and affection a husband has for his wife.
